CTG arrest an ISIS leader in Kirkuk
The General Directorate of Counter-Terrorism (CTG) in coordination with the Intelligence and Security Directorate of Kirkuk, the Kirkuk Intelligence Directorate, with the support of the SWAT unit of Kirkuk police, was able to arrest a senior leader of Islamic State (IS) terrorist organization.
The wanted terrorist named (A, M, A) who was the leader of the organization in the so-called Wilayah of Dijlah , was wanted by the Nineveh Court of Investigation under Article 4 of terrorism.
Previously, the terrorist was a member of a part of the Diwan Jund one of the caliphal fiscal departments in the so-called Wilayah of Dijlah, later became the head of the Wilayah and participated in several operations against security forces, then fled to Kirkuk province and worked in sleeping cells.
The suspect has been arrested and handed over to the relevant authorities for legal action.
